	The Country Office has established a collaboration with a traditional healing centre ?Taman Sringanis? in Bogor aiming at promoting scientific knowledge on medicinal plant resources. Through the cooperation, a joint one day special training for women on the utilization of medicinal plants to improve health condition and enhance income was conducted on 10 March 2005. All the 58 women participated in the training felt that the training was quite useful and hoped that such a training could be held on a regular basis.

	PROSEA (the Network Office and the Country Office Indonesia) in collaboration with PT. Martina Berto, Jakarta, organized a Seminar on Medicinal, Aromatic, and Cosmetic (MAC) Plants in Bogor. The seminar with the theme ?Be Organic and Safe? was held on 11?12 May 2004, at the auditorium of the Research Centre for Biology of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences. PT. Martina Berto, one of the leading herbal-based cosmetic and medicinal industries in Indonesia, was the main sponsor of the event, and as co-sponsor was PT. Dexa Medica, also based in Jakarta.
